My little girl is getting soo big

It hit me tonight when I was looking at pictures that I took of Madison last week with her Goddard summer camp shirt on how much she has grown since last summer. It almost makes me sad to see how fast she is growing. She has developed quite a personality and is so fun to be around. She is quite feisty at times, but soo cute. I included a picture from last summer as a comparison.

Colorado was beautiful

Maggie took us to see Red Rocks. This is where my sister wants to get married. It was very pretty. Next time we go I will stay longer. That was a long plane flight for just two days. We missed our cutoff for check in for our flight back home and had to get a flight with another airline. There was no way we were going to stay at the airport all day on standby with a two year old. I was about to lose it, but we were able to find another flight.

Trip to Colorado

We went to Colorado the weekend before last to visit with my sister. I was worried about how Madison would do on the plane, but she was awesome. Since she has tubes in her ears she doesn't get the pressure in your ears things. She did really good on the flight. She slept to whole way from Atlanta to Denver.

Madison's photo session

I met Melody Smith from Twilight Images for a photo shoot at Richard Bland today. I was so worried that it was going to rain but it didn't. I really like her and she was so laid back. She even showed me some features on my camera that I haven't learned how to use yet. Madison had a blast and really showed her true colors. She even sent me two sneak peak photos. More to come later.

Put a Ring on It

I don't know where she learned to dance like this. It definitely was not from me. I have no rythmn at all. I guess it is one of the many things that she picks up from school.

Too cute!

Independent 2 1/2 year old

I have come to realize that it takes a lot of patience to be a parent. My daughter is going through the "I DO IT" stage as I call it. She is trying to be very independent. Whether it is trying to go up and down stair by herself or putting on her clothes. It takes me twice as long to get anything done these days because of it. Here is a picture of her so called "I DO It" moments.
This is what happened when I told Madison it was time to put on her pajamas.
